Strathavon House
The ground floor of the House has three major rooms:
- sitting room with TV and DVD player,
- dining room with a table that seats 8 people, and
- kitchen fitted with a two-oven AGA stove/cooker and dishwasher.
It also has a toilet and a rear hallway where the washing machine is located.
On the first floor there are:
- four bedrooms (two twin, two double)
- shower room
- bathroom with toilet
The Chalet
The ground floor of the chalet contains:
- main bedroom, with a double and a single bed
- kitchen, with dishwasher and dining table seating 4 people
- utility room with washing machine, and
- shower room
On the first floor there are:
- second bedroom (with twin beds) and
- sitting room with TV and DVD player, and balcony.
This south-facing balcony provides a lovely sunny area with magnificent views out over the Cairngorms.
The grounds
Both properties share a half-acre garden consisting mainly of stepped lawns dropping away from the house.
The garden is fenced but is not child or dog proof. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads
to a rough path down to the River Spey
At the front of the house, there is off-street parking in the driveway for Strathavon house and on-street
parking which is outside The Chalet.
